The Leaf razor is neat. You can use the cheap double edge blades for refills. Instead of throwing a lot of plastic away each week, you could be using just the metal. And no sharpening. You can load a half of a blade, 2 halves, or 3 halves to get the closeness of the shave you want. A 500 pack of Astra blades would be over 300 3-blade cartridges, and a lot less plastic. 3 blade shave for about 15 cents or a mach 3 cartridge for $2?
For a great shave consider getting shave soap and a badger brush. These brands are awesome and you can use the plastic shell as a dish to hold the soap. And when its empty, you can use the plastic shell to hold used razor blades. Avoid throwing sharps directly in the trash these days.
